

Colleen's Savoury Smoothie

- Power Blender
- Knife
- Cutting Board
- Peeler
- Prep bowl For soaking the Almonds
- Measuring Cups
Ingredients
- 3 Tomato
- 1 Celery stick with leaves (Chopped in 2cm lengths)
- 1 Red Pepper 3cm slice
- 1/2 Lemon peeled
- 2 tsp Stock
- 1 Thumb Ginger washed
- 1 Carrot washed (Cut in half)
- 1/2 Avo
- 2 Kale leaves washed, de-stemmed, roughly chopped
- 2&1/2 Cups Ice
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/4 Cup Almonds Soaked for 2 Hours
- Salt to taste
- 1 Chilli Optional (seeded)
Instructions
- Place the ingredients in the jug in the order listed
- Run the blender on the smoothie preset, or start the blender on the lowest setting and turn the speed up to it's highest setting (within 10 seconds) and let it run for approx 90 seconds (until smooth and creamy)
- Serve and enjoy
