Ingredients
- 450 g Dried Pasta
For the Cheez Sauce
- 2 Cups Potatoes (360g) peeled and chopped
- 1 Cup Carrots (135g) peeled and chopped
- 1/3 Cup Olive Oil (85ml) extra virgin
- 1/2 Cup Plant Milk (125ml) unsweetened
- 1/2 Cup Nutritional Yeast (8 Tbsp)
- 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
Garnish
- 4 Tomatoes (small) Sliced
Instructions
- Steam the potatoes and carrots for about 20 minutes, or until soft.
- Turn the oven on - 180 degrees to heat up
- In the meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Drain and set aside in the pot.
- Place all the vegan cheez ingredients in a blender jug (Including the potatoes and carrots) and blend until smooth.
- Mix the blended cheez into the cooked pasta.
- Place the mixed mac n cheez into the oven dish, garnish with the sliced tomato.
- Place into the oven and bake for 30 minutes.
- Once done turn the oven off and serve immediately. Enjoy
