
Go Nuts "Cheeze" Sauce
This "Cheeze" sauce can be used in various dishes and tastes great when making Kale chips from scratch
Equipment
- Power Blender
- Cup Measures
- Measuring spoons
- Mixing Bowl
- Dehydrator Optional (If making Kale Chips)
Ingredients
For the Cheeze Sauce
- 1 Med Red Bell Pepper Seeded and roughly chopped
- 1 Cup Cashew Nuts Soaked (Boiling water - 1 hr)
- ⅓ Cup Nutritional Yeast
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Gralic Powder
- 1 Tbsp Fresh Thyme Optional
- ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper (Or more - to taste)
- ¼ Cup Olive Oil
- Lemon Juice Squeezed
- ¼ Cup Water Extra 1/4 Cup water - keep aside
For Kale Chips
- ⅔ Bunch Curly Kale Optional (If making Kale Chips)
Instructions
- Place the sauce ingredients in the blender jug in the order listed.
- Set Blender on "Sauce" Preset and let it run until it stops.
- If the sauce is too thick slowly add the extra water until you have the desired consistency.
- Pour ingredients out into a mixing bowl (If making Kale chips) or over your preferred ingredients for your recipe.
- Mix the sauce well and rub it into the broken up "bite sized" Kale.
- Spread your Kale over several trays of the dehydrator.
- Dehydrate for 4 hours on 50℃.
