This fermented pear chutney is a must try, once you’ve tasted it you will want to make sure that you always have some in the fridge….

Implements and Equipment

  • Fermentation Pot
  • Measuring spoons and cups

Ingredients

  • 16 Pears (cored and chopped)
  • 2 cups Raisins
  • 150 gram Pecan Nuts (chopped)
  • 2 ½ tbsp. Sea salt
  • 5 Lemons (juice only)
  • 3 Onions (Finely chopped)
  • 4 tbsp. Grated fresh ginger
  • 2 Hot Peppers (chopped)
