- 2 Lemons (Cleaned and sliced in ± 3cm slices and ¼ each slice)
- 5cm Ginger (Sliced into thin slices)

± 1 Cup Honey (Has to be enough to cover everything
- OPTIONAL EXTRA – 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
- Combine the lemon and ginger slices (And cinnamon – if using) in a ± 350ml glass bottle
- Slowly pour the honey over to completely cover all the lemon and ginger slices, and to fill all the voids in between. The Honey must completely cover all the ingredients
- Close the bottle and place in a fridge until it starts forming a jelly-like consistency
To use:
- Scoop 1 teaspoon of the “jelly” into a mug and pour ± ½ cup of boiling water over it
- Sip as needed
This recipe makes about 2 Cups and will store in the fridge for about 2-3 months.
