This dairy free sour cream and onion sauce is not only diary free and delicious but it low fat too. Furthermore, enjoy this sauce in several ways. If you’re having friends or family over, you can use it as a dip with Flax and carrot crackers, fresh vegetables and so much more.

It can last for 4-5 days when stored in an airtight container in the fridge. Upon cooling, it will thicken a bit.
Alternatively, it can be frozen and thawed over night in the refrigerator.
You can make this recipe nut-free by simply using sunflower seed, tahini or silken tofu instead.

Ingredients

Cashews (rinsed and soaked overnight)
Macadamia nuts
Onions
Organic green onions
Water
Lemons (freshly squeezed)
Himalayan salt
